Laura Hall (D), representative of Madison County, has pre-filed a bill which would remove the Confederate Flag from Alabama’s State seal. Hall, who is a native of South Carolina, is requesting only that the Southern Cross be taken down – the flags of four other slaveholding governments (Spain, Great Britain, France, and the United States) will remain on the seal.
