Shame for Adhering to God?

The liberals over at the Alabama Media Group have posted another article demonising Southerners.’s (affectionately referred to by many conservatives as “Al.Commie,”) John Archibald has poison penned a piece equating God-fearing Alabamians with Nazis. Where have we heard that before?

Mr. Archibald expresses his “pious” disdain for the Methodist Church enforcing it’s own dogma against the Yankee Talbert, who aims to wed two Sodomites in Birmingham.

Mr. Archibald, not merely content to defame Southerners, also hates his own religion. He says quite plainly:

…I’m ashamed of being a Methodist. In Alabama.

Like Joey Kennedy, one wonders why they remain in a country they despise so much. Alabama would certainly be much better off if they would flee to those bastions of perversity in the North.

The article itself is devoid from any semblance of an an argument. Archibald doesn’t event attempt to make a cohesive case. He states:

Wallace-Padgett (of the North Alabama Methodist Church) issued another statement urging Bishop Talbert to reconsider, hammering him for disregarding a church law, and blah blah blah.

Archibald’s article is summed up, blah blah blah. It a piece designed to tap in to the ingrained notion of “absolute equality” of society, regardless of how incompatible it is. But this itself is not even applicable upon closer scrutiny, as Sodomites have the same rights everyone else possesses anyway. But he continues on with his theologically bankrupt fluff as he tries to drag the Southern Methodist Church into the errors of Modernism which have afflicted it’s Northern counterparts so heavily.

In the process of his sugary sweet, Alabama-hating rant, Archibald does find time to squeeze in mentions of MLK, Jr., flying spaghetti monsters, and, interestingly enough, Saint Augustine. What has this Great Saint, a champion of the Christian Church, said on the matter?

“(T)hose shameful acts against nature, such as were committed in Sodom, ought everywhere and always to be detested and punished. If all nations were to do such things, they would be held guilty of the same crime by the law of God, which has not made men so that they should use one another in this way.” Saint Augustine, “Confessions”

That’s the word, Archie.

Shhhhhhhhhh. It’s a Secret

St. Andrew’s News is proud to inform readers on a mind-blowing fact: The Federal government never shut down.

‘What?’ you say. ‘Then why was I constantly being pounded by apocalyptic harridans from MSNBC, FOX, and CNN? You tell me a shut-down never occurred!’

Think a little while. What exactly shut down?

Federal police continued to patrol monuments and parks- only now with the express intent to keep citizens out.

Congress continued to meet.

Obama was still in the White House.

Federal employees were still getting paid (retroactively).

What DID shut down?

Well, Michelle Obama’s servants were only allowed to water her garden, not weed or prune, etc.

Really important stuff, that. In fact, the entire shut-dwon constituted only 17% of the the Federal government. That’s hardly a true shutdown. The battle waged by some Republicans, while admirable, was mainly for political points rather than truly driving for an honest-to-goodness, lights-out offline.

But, now that we’re on the tail-end of that magical hay ride, how exactly did our Representatives perform in this fight? Some good, others, not so.

Those opposing ending the “shut-down” were Senators Sessions and Shelby, and Reps. Brooks, Aderholt, Rogers, and Roby.

Voting for the bill were Terri Sewell and Spencer Bachus of the House.  The Constitution Party of Alabama said on Bachus’s’ vote:

Before he retires from office (REPUBLICAN) Rep. Spencer Bachus gave Alabama one last punch in the face and voted in favor of the compromise.

Senator Sessions statement on the vote:

They demanded yet another increase in the debt limit – without cutting one single penny of spending. They demanded the unfettered implementation of ObamaCare – a law that will add $6 trillion to the long-term debt while causing millions of hardworking people to lose their jobs and health plans, forced into part-time work that can’t support a family. And they even demanded that we spend above the Budget Control Act – a transparent effort to permanently bust federal spending caps.

How did alleged Conservative leader Boehner lean? To the Liberal side, of course:

We’ve been locked into a fight over here, trying to bring government down to size, trying to do our best to stop Obamacare. We fought the good fight; we just didn’t win. There’s no reason for our members to vote ‘no’ today. (Emphasis Added)

That’s the type of stuff of which leaders are made! I wonder if Boehner is included in the Federal Employee raise come January. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, doesn’t it?

This highlights the differences between Alabama and it’s Republican Party to that of the other States and the “national” Republican Party (headed by Yankees). The Northern and Pacific counterparts basically told Conservatives to “roll over and die.” Were this up to Alabama alone, HR 2775 would never have passed, or come close to passing. The shutdown would have been a real shutdown, with the Fed being derailed for quite some time. But the sectional differences are showing through in what one liberal called a “Confederate” plot. This gives us all the more reason to end the Fed here in Alabama and secede.

Pat Buchanan Gets It- Quote of the Day

Pat Buchanan, culture warrior and paleoconservative, has seen the writing on the wall in regards to secession. Some of the highlights from his recent article include:

In the last decade of the 20th century, as the Soviet Empire disintegrated so, too, did that prison house of nations, the USSR.

The spirit of secession, the desire of peoples to sever ties to nations to which they have belonged for generations, sometimes for centuries, and to seek out their own kind, is a spreading phenomenon.

What are the forces pulling nations apart? Ethnicity, culture, history and language — but now also economics. And separatist and secessionist movements are cropping up here in the United States.

Pentagon Fakes Ceremonies

How much does the Fed actually care for the lives of it’s soldiers? If recent admissions by the Pentagon are any measure, very little. Soldiers KIA overseas were allegedly given honour upon their arrival at a military base in Hawaii. The problems? The flag-draped coffins contained no bodies. Many of the planes were shuttled into position as props because they couldn’t fly. The bodies of the fallen were actually kept detained. When the Fed finally got around to it, how did many soldiers’ bodies arrive?

When remains are brought back by JPAC (a Pentagon organ) staff, they arrive from the airport in a plastic box in an employee’s private vehicle, with no ceremony

The Pentagon has stated, however, that it was actually doing something good by fooling the citizen:

These pre-planned ceremonies are symbolic in nature, with the purpose of honoring those Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice in support of our nation

Because nothing says honouring the dead by putting on a farce complete with empty coffins.

Making the average citizen feel good must trump any disclosure of truth. Just ensure everyone thinks we’re rolling along nicely in our pleasant little wars. The Fed/Brass can’t have the populace know just how they treat our boys!

“Furloughed” Federal Employees Getting Paid Vacations

Congress has voted to “retroactively reimburse” Federal employees who were furloughed during the government shut-down. Here’s how Alabama’s Reps voted on HR. 3223 (yea votes to reimburse, nea not to reimburse):

Screen Shot 2013-10-08 at 3.38.37 PM

Meanwhile, the Fed is picking and choosing who can and cannot use closed parks and recreation facilities. WWII Vets are refused, but illegals immigrants are welcome. One Democratic Congressman (who was arrested for obscuring traffic during the pro-amnesty protest), Rep. Luis Gutierrez, previously stated that

I have only one loyalty, and that’s to the immigrant community.

So while supporting the Southern people and culture is considered racist, a serving public official who pledges loyalty exclusively to non-native peoples (or races) is not.

The shut-down has also sparked interest in the return of Federally-held State land. Sen. Mike Lee of Utah expounds it beatuifully:

Proposition Be Gone!

Proposition Be Gone!
by Dr. J. Michael Hill

Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.

– Abraham Lincoln
Gettysburg Address
November 19, 1863

Ignoring the first 200 or so years of American history neo-cons and various revolutionaries today insist that the United States is a “proposition nation.” By that they refer to the opening line of Abraham Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address, and allow Lincoln’s silly and false assertion to re-write American history and make the United States the carrier of a revolutionary philosophy that its Founders would have rejected with contempt. The Founders understood, of course, that lasting nations arise organically, from religion, people, soil, and tradition.

Abstraction or Reality?

The League of the South, unlike the America of the New World Order, is not wedded to a universal proposition: equality, democracy, or the rights of man, but to a real historical order based on place and kin. If we are to survive as a distinct people with a physical place to live, work, and worship, then we must never waver from this commitment. Men much wiser than we can hope to be repeatedly caution that it is from our fathers, and not from abstractions, that we draw our sustenance as a separate, distinct, God-ordained people.

But for the past half-century, both liberals and neo-conservatives have worked to discredit nature: that a human’s first temporal allegiance is to kith and kin. These self-appointed social engineers are trying to reshape Creation according to their own false notions of good and evil. Attempting to rebuild the Tower of Babel, they would nullify the Biblical and historical reality of true nationhood.

Southerners have always understood that a nation is not some abstract or proposition. Such threads are too weak to bind a nation. Only blood and shared tradition supplies that cement. As Southerner Stark Young wrote in So Red The Rose, “It’s not to our credit to think we began today and it’s not to our glory to think we end today. All through time we keep coming in to the shore like waves, like waves. You stick to your blood, son; there’s a fierceness in blood that can bind you up with a long community of life.”

Long before Stark Young, Patrick Henry, the greatest of the American Founders, had already recognized this. “We are descended from a people whose government was founded on liberty; our glorious grandfathers of Great Britain made liberty the foundation of everything. We draw that spirit of liberty from our British ancestors.”

Buried Under Strangers

Today, totalitarians of all stripes champion “equality” by pushing for an “open door” immigration policy to the Third World. They don’t care whether the thousands upon thousands of Muslims, Latinos, and other non-Western peoples threaten the economic, racial, ethnic, and cultural balance of our country. Rather, since they hold sacred the “rights of man,” they view America as the world’s first universal nation, dedicated to the “proposition” that all men and cultures are created equal.

The Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1965, subsequent legislation, and judicial edicts have allowed into the U.S. millions of non-Europeans while closing the “Golden Door” to European immigrants. They encourage Third World immigrants—both legal and illegal—to maintain their own cultures and languages while plundering America’s taxpaying citizens.

Echoing In Our Ears

If history does not repeat itself, it certainly echoes. The imperial United States today recalls the Roman Empire when barbarian Germanic tribes were overrunning Rome’s frontier. No deep-rooted racial or cultural antagonism lay between Roman and German because the tribesmen envied and admired Roman civilization—as far as they understood it. To destroy Rome was not their wish; to save Rome was beyond them. Not having created it, they could never understand what made it work. Like leeches, they could only suck it dry.

Eventually, even under the best circumstances, a huge alien influx loyal only to our prosperity will weaken and destroy our civilization. They lack both the desire and the understanding to preserve vital institutions, but meanwhile their numbers will overrun us. We will cease to control the homeland bequeathed us by our ancestors—generations of noble and honorable men and women.

Perhaps we will suffer a fate worse than Rome’s. Already, radical Latinos have launched a reconquista [re-conquest] of the U.S. southwest, while federal judges thwart volunteer efforts to turn back the tide. Never mind the speechifying, what do government actions show? Which side have our rulers taken? Clearly, not ours.

Survive or Die

To survive and prosper, we have to adopt Frank Owsley’s attitude. The great Southern historian who said, “The term ‘folk’ has for its primary meaning a group of kindred people, forming a tribe or nation [in the truest sense of the word]; a people bound together by ties of race, language, religion, custom, tradition, and history… A folk thus possesses a sense of solidarity and is quite different from a conglomerate mass of people. It has most if not all of the characteristics of nationalism [again, properly defined]. Indeed, it may be contended with much force that there can be no true nationalism where the population does not constitute a folk.”

Our primary objective should be to preserve our people—kith and kin—on their ancestral lands. Without our land, we cannot exist. The Southern people are not a “universal idea” any more than Germany, Holland, or Spain. There can be no Scotland in France among the French, but only in Scotland among the Scots. Once we secure our future as “the Southern people,” then, and only then, can we bring back States Rights and gain our independence. The South is a true nation built on realities of place and kinship and history. Without it, we cannot survive.

What do we need?

  • A South where our borders are sealed against massive immigration.

  • A South where the Southern people protect their interests from the ravages of multiculturalism and phony diversity.

  • A South where a prosperous, self-confident, and distinct people can welcome into its ranks, by its own choice and on its own terms, productive and sympathetic immigrants.

  • A South that will be a beacon to those nations defending a traditional way of life against abstract ideologies and a new world order.

  • A South where Southerners can answer beyond doubt “Who are we?”

When we know who we are and are willing to defend ourselves and our posterity, then we shall be a truly free people. If we fail to grapple with this basic question, we shall end up in the proverbial “dust bin of history”—unsung, unworthy, and unlamented.
