Joey Kennedy the Scallywag

joey-kennedy-scallywagJoey Kennedy, Pulitzer Prize winner and all around liberal, has come out against the South, particularly Alabama, in a recent article. While explaining the happenings at the famous Battle of Gettysburg, Mr. Kennedy makes the case that the South is stupid to continue fighting for what its ancestors did:

Now, 150 years later, we in the South still suffer a Civil War hangover. The South was not a good loser. And we’ve been kicking and screaming ever since, refusing to surrender to Lee’s complete surrender. Refusing to surrender to treating all with fairness, equality.

In a follow-up, Mr. Kennedy singles Alabama out among the Southern States:

And defeat? We know it in Alabama. We know it well. We fight. We fight hard. We dare defend our rights. And we lose. We’re not good losers.

Poland and a horde of Eastern European countries must have been suffering from a “hangover” themselves by keeping their culture alive while dreaming one day of independence. They should have, according to Mr. Kennedy, rolled over on their bellies like good lap-dogs. The same is to be said for the scores of secessionist organisations spanning the United States and Europe– poor sports, all around.

How was the South not a good loser, Mr. Kennedy? There are no instances of Confederate-sanctioned rape, arson, and murder like those committed by the Northern States and the Federal government. Rather, it was the North who was not a good winner. And we have been kicking and screaming because we are continually being beaten into submission by a Federal government which derides us as “racists, backwoods hicks, and idiots.” It’s policies have been against us. It’s meddling has not been to our benefit. It’s nefarious goals are nothing short of elimination of Southerners as a people.

Said General William T. “Total War” Sherman:

Until we can repopulate Georgia, it is useless to occupy it, but the utter destruction of it’s roads, houses, and people will cripple their military resources….I can make the march, and make Georgia howl.

And said Rep. Eleanor Norton (Dem- Wash. D.C.):

(T)he growth of the Hispanic population is going to mean the end of this section of this – this southern section white party of old men, and they know it…

The Federals have been very explicit in their efforts to displace the people of the South, Alabama especially, with their opposition to States enforcing existing immigration laws.

Mr. Kennedy: How about you treat the South with the same fairness and equality you show towards other peoples and support us in leaving this rotting “union”? It’s the least to expect from someone who claims to be an Alabamian.

The South will not rise again. At least, it will not rise again in the context of the conditions that existed prior to 1865.

Here, Mr. Kennedy is right- the South will not rise again in the same fashion which it did previously. And the ongoing displacement of Southrons assures us that the “conditions and context” will also be changed. But, rest assured Mr. Kennedy, we will rise with or without you. After all, who needs a scallywag?

Federals Tighten Grip, Congress Incapable

The Federal government has bypassed Congress once again and put in place 2 new executive orders curbing gun ownership. One of the measures forbids the import of military-grade surplus:

The second executive order announced Thursday aims to keep military-grade weapons off the streets by prohibiting private entities from re-importing firearms that the United States previously provided to foreign allies. Currently, the law requires U.S. government approval before these weapons can be re-imported.

So, while the Fed can hand them out to whoever it wishes, be they Jihadists or drug cartels, the citizens of the States- you know, the people who actually pay for the government- are denied them. The reason? We just aren’t responsible enough:

Today, the Administration is announcing a new policy of denying requests to bring military-grade firearms back into the United States to private entities…This new policy will help keep military-grade firearms off our streets.

The White House even gleefully thumps its own chest on it’s snubbing of Congress:

Even as Congress fails to act on common-sense proposals, like expanding criminal background checks and making gun trafficking a federal crime, the president and vice president remain committed to using all the tools in their power to make progress toward reducing gun violence,

The “power” that the White House refers to itself defines. How else could Obama pass gun measures or declare war on foreign powers, both without Congress’ consent?

This is a representative government? Where the Executive ignores our representatives? Despotic at home and aggressive abroad, that’s the “United States.”

AEA Sues Alabama

The Alabama Education Association has filed a lawsuit against the State of Alabama and its Alabama Accountability Act, alleging that “tax money” will be given to “religious schools.” The suit in part contends:

The AAA diverts taxpayer funds to religious schools through tax credits that pay for some or all of the cost of attending such schools, which are places of worship and ministries of the churches or other religious organizations that own, operate, sponsor, or control them

Hmmm. Let’s see. A PUBLIC Education Association suing the State because it allows citizens’ tax CREDITS to be used towards better schools- be they private or public. And the AAA is supposed to be infringing upon the citizens’ rights?

Who exactly is the AEA doing this for? It certainly isn’t the for the students or the families paying the teachers wages. And now they’ve locked arms with the SPLC in an effort to bring down our law.

Glad to know they have Alabama’s best interests at heart.

Alabama GOP Betrays Right Once Again

The GOP Alabama Executive Committee killed a resolution that would have barred anyone from sitting on the Alabama GOP steering committee who opposed the party’s platform. However, this didn’t have anything to do with drones or foreign aid or welfare, but marriage. The issue arose after a neocon voiced support for Sodomite marriage.

“We’re not the Taliban. We’re not the Third Reich,” one committee member said.

So if you actually expect the leaders of a party to support the platform of that party, you must be a goose-stepping Nazi, or a bomb-throwing Jihadist.

One great Alabamian had the good sense to stand up for right- the indomitable Judge Roy Moore:

If we disparage family values we will lose our country…If the Republican Party of this state should ever adopt same-sex marriage, I will no longer be a part of the Republican Party

Another reason to join the Alabama Constitution Party.

There was a good turnout to the Uvalda, Georgia rally against Southern displacement. The pictures above don’t do it justice.

Check out the Southern Nationalist Network’s update with even more pictures from the historic event.

Rally at Uvalda

St. Andrew’s News is here in the Uvalda area covering the rally hosted by the League of the South and the Southern Nationalist Network. We stand in solidarity with our Georgia brethren as we protest Mayor Bridges and his actions against the people of this community.

This isn’t just a rally for Georgians, however. This is a rally for all Southerners to protect our culture!

Let Them Eat Cake

The POTUS is acting more and more in an attitude that can best be attributed to a tyrant. A big-government, tradition-hating, anti-Christian, Jacobin tyrant.

…in October, the First Lady told reporters that she hosted a “doggie play date” because “Bo (the Obama’s pet dog) doesn’t have enough dog interaction.”

Yes- this is what your “elected” government chooses to inform you about via the well-being of their pets. Forget the illegal spying, censoring, and auditing of States’ citizens! Tell us more about your new dog!

In its official press statement about Sunny, the White House said it expected Bo to be a good big brother to Sunny and that the puppy was expected to spend time in the Oval Office with the President.

Obama’s dog Bo was also the subject of controversy when he rode on his own MV-22 Osprey helicopter, separate from the Obamas, to Martha’s Vineyard. But, hey, it’s all good! The President needed a second chopper anyway to haul all his personnel and golf clubs.

And people still have the audacity to mock King Louis XVI and others.

Note- The quote “Let them eat cake,” was never actually spoken by Queen Marie Antoinette, as is commonly ascribed, but by the wife of King Louis XIV, Marie-Therese.
